Boost Port taps?

has any one here made their own boost port before?

Trying to find out if i can just use like a brass fitting :


does it need to be a 1 way check valve, or can i just use a reg fitting?

use regular fitting... i used same kind of fitting and tapped to turbo outlet.

yea thats what i was wondering, if i should just drill a hole in my turbo and thread it( or the elbow), or just silicone it into the outlet coupler.

works really well, use the smallest threaded sizes to fit you needs, just in case you have to do it again, or screw up. You won't have a big hole to fill for a small hose fitting.
