Will a ka24de with a blown headgasket fail smog? I am going to buy one with a blown headgasket and then smog it. then put my sr20det in it. btw the car has 171k on it...what are your thoughts? I know its hard to predict everything, but given good cat etc.... will it pass most likely?

i would guess not provided it will run it will have a lot of evaporated coolant in the system and antifreeze has some bad **** in it

is emmisions and smog testing 2 different things? what does smog test for?
