Sooo many problems. Please help.

Hi every body, before you get mad at me, and tell me to search, know this. Whenever I have a problem, which is often, I always search, and search, and search, until i find a solution. but this time, I can't quite find an answer for the situation I'm in specifically. Sooo, any help would be greatly appreciated. Or, if a thread already does exist, (which certainly can't find), please direct me over to it. Thank you.

Ok. I just bought a 92 240 the other day. They said the clutch wa bad. I adjusted the brand new master, and bled the brand new slave, and that biznatch grabs great. so, now it's driving, but i'm having electrical problems. Here's the list of everything that's not functioning.

Automatic seat belts dont work at all. I checked the box under the center consol, and everything is plugged in good.

Nothing on the dash cluster works. No speedo, tach, fuel, temp, NOTHING.
Not even the leds on the bottom.

My blinkers don't work at all, but my hazards do. the arrow indicators in the cluster work, when I have the hazards on. But turn signals don't work at all.

And I found a plug, with cut wires dangling, not connected to anything. I have no idea what it's for. look at the pictures to see what I'm talking about.

I don't know If this plug has anything to do with anything, or if there is something that is causing all of the above mentioned problems to occur, together. I have a Chilton's manual, but that thing doesn't help at all. I don't have too much experience in this crazy electrical crap, since my 1st 240 worked great.
Anyway, If you have any idea what the efff is going on, please enlighten me, if not, that's ok, I still love you.

Oh, and while I'm posting pictures, I might as well ask what this hose goes to. I haven't tried figuring it out too much, but figured I could ask.

Oh, and I failed smog.

25mph: rpm: 1959/ hc: max: 93/ meas: 78/ co: max:0.63/ meas:0.01/

As you can see, I failed due to high nox. I read that bypassing the egr bpt would make it pass. Just wondering if there is a sure way to make it pass, without cheating.
Thanks guys.

i know haha. i replaced the battery yesterday, and put a shizz load of that red corrosion crap on there.

The fuses and relays were the first thing I checked. some of the fuses in the kick panel block were higher amperage than required. (stupid previous owners). so I put all good fuses in there, and of the right spec. My buddy was helping me, and had his test light down there checking where all the fuses plug in, in the kick panel block, (or so i thought). I just checked it out right now, and found out that the whole left half is dead. FUPPP!!! So, now I gotta trace the wires back and figure out why all of them are dead. Good thing I double checked. Does anyone know what could've caused that?? I'm still wondering what the hell that plug by the battery is for, any ideas??? Feel free to chime in, I'm gonna go get dirty.
Thanks.
~Cody
