need help with possible starter problem?

i have a s13 with sr. went to turn on my car and it didn't turn on. so i pulled out my starter to get it rebuilt. i got it rebuilt and reinstalled it. tried to turn on the car but it just clicks. the sound is coming from the starter. thought it was possible the starter again brought it back for the guy to check and he said its definitely not the starter. any suggestions?

the starter guy also mentioned that it might be my ignition. and he told me dad to wire the starter straight to the battery and try to start the car but still didnt work. it still just clicked.

^^ that might be your ignition switch, but i think it might be the starter relay. happend to me i changed it and it worked perfectly.

solenoid?
starter relay?
battery?
grounding?
fuel going through?

if its the ignition switch, just change it cause i mean its an old car. when you turn the key to on it might not read and sometimes dont start. but if its clicking i mean thats gives the sign of it working. just check those suggestion i gave above.
