Steering Wheel hub question

looking into buying a quick release and a hub.. but im in a dilemma, idk to get a short hub or a normal length hub, can you guys tell me if the normal length is comfortable with a quick release or would it be better to get the short and have it more like stock length..

what quick release and hub im looking at is Works bell RapfixII. and there Normal hub or Short hub

what i have is a
s14.
330mm deepdish steering wheel
and im about 6'0

just want to get some feedback on what you guys are running..

this is not for looking pretty, car will be drifting this season.

Thanks

If you want it as close to stock as possible, a short hub + dished wheel will be your best bet.

If you want it closer to you, Momo hub works better.

if you want to OD, Momo hub + QR + Sparco spacer + dished wheel.

In yo faceeeee.

I have a removable hub with a nrg short hub and a personal wheel - its a little farther out than stock. With the personal hub I had it would've been way to far out but I'm only 5'7" so I gotta be up on the pedals to drive anyway. I think if your shorter like I am I would definately go with a short hub.

you have two options:
1. short hub + regular quick release.
2. regular hub + slim/short quick release.

either the hub or the quick release has to be short and the other regular size. They cant be both short or both regular or else your steering wheel will be too short or too long.

Just buy a short hub, and if it isn't close enough, you can either sell it or buy a spacer.

Personally, I like a dished wheel, standard hub, ball bearing type quick release, and a 30mm spacer.

im 6' also and i have an NRG short hub, quick release and deep dish wheel and I love how it sits but i would be ok if it sat a little closer. It will vary from person to person but the set up I have seems to be pretty good for someone our height. not too far not too close. youre just gonna have to take a chance and see how you like it.
