How do I get those locks away from the bolts on the turbo? I tried using needle nose pliers and didn't get very far. Any suggestions? ![]() |

^ thats becouse its the easiest way...
think about the angles to take off the turbo from the elbow/downpipe,and the bolts holding the turbo to manifold...

Alright I am down to the last 2 bolts under the manifold on the back (towards the firewall). I can only do, like, a quarter turn at best because of the lack of space for my wrench. This is the most awful thing.

Ratchet and extension.
Also, you'll get good enough at it that you can pull the manifold and turbo in 20 minutes. You'll want to use a hammer and long screwdriver to bend the clips back. When you put everything back together, make sure to use a new pair of locking tabs or the nuts will back off in a few hundred miles. |

That's what I mean, I got the bolts off the manifold. I don't know what my problems was before, but I got the crescent wrench in there pretty easy last night and it was a snap.
