K im trying to install the OBX shifter in the SR tranny but when i go to put that green plastic holder thing in it seems to drop to far d own into the tranny so the shifter moves way to much...is there sapposed to be something underneath? or what? =)

In that case, use the stock one, somebody goofed up..I suppose. Compare the stock ball with the new ball...should be the same, use the stock retainer.
