Hey guys, Im interested in a ecu for my 240 and don't really have any info on getting one. don't really wanna go with a aftermarket ecu but just want a stock one with the top speed limiter off. My friend said that you can buy them on ebay and most of them come tuned already with the speed limiter off but all I see is turbo tuned and stuff.

If anybody can give me a lil bit more info on this topic and whats the best thing to do to get a lil upgrade on a stock ecu. That would be great.

how often do you do 120+?

anyways, im sure if you call up jwt or enthalpy they could custom tune one for you, or i believe that automatic ecu's dont have the speed or rev limiters that the 5 speeds do

oh thanks man. And I totally forgot that my friend told me about the auto ecu. but Im looking a for a small tune then stock ecu. but thanks a lot man. Ill give em a call.

dam thats a koo price. well I was thinking on like 200 and sumthing but I was looking at the emance ecu. u think u guys can tell me a lil more about that. I wanna run a lil faster. but dnt wanna go turbo now. saving up for my sr but still like the ka.

send me your ecu i'll send mine to ya for ...280 the fuel maps are tweaked,(for)raise rev limit,set up now revs to 7.3 other chip take it to 7.7,ignition maps r tweaked,no speed limiter,jus plug n play,so what ever bolt on you do your ka will benifit from it

So anyone here able to tune an ecu in the mail kind of thing? I know dyno tuning is ideal but... I remember a few guys on here stating they can 'safely' tune based on certain specs the ka... as the ka is pretty pig rich. So if you list parts eg; dc sports 4-2-1 header, n60 maf, sr 270cc injectors, wallbro 255lph fuel pump, 91 ka cams, test pipe, emissions off, 2.5" exhaust all the way, running 94 octane, 28* timing, stuff like that, would they be able to do a tune in the mail kind of thing?
