driveshaft question

alright guys i have a question
i have a s14 sr in my s13 ever since i put the sr in which is well over a year ago i noticed a small little space b/w the driveshaft and the tranny and a small drops of tranny fuild leak out over time thru there im planning to getting a one piece ordered up this week so i thought id ask

my questions is since the s14 shaft is longer then the s13 shaft should i be using a s14 driveshaft to close up that hole?

While I'm unsure on total length of s14 to s13, you should be using an S13 driveshaft in your car.

And a little drip out of the tailshaft is probably just a rear seal being shot. 5 dollar seal from any auto store.

The driveshaft must match the chassis, engine doesn't matter (KA or SR). Your only concern is to ABS vs. non ABS.

Stop lying. You never knew this.

If you call the DriveShaft Shop, they ask about the front, the rear, and the length of the shaft.

They can make you custom driveshafts for everything and have a lot of stock specs ready to help get the right shaft for you.

Like for mine, the front is a T5, the rear is a Pathfinder R200, and the length is custom.

Otherwise they'll just ask S13 or S14, KA/SR or something else, and ABS or non-ABS R200 diff. That's it.

Same price as any other shaft they make, which means every shaft they make is custom

Give the seal a try. If you end up needing a new drive shaft, you didn't really waste your time with the seal because it was $5 and probably needed to be replaced anyway.
