NEED help on manifold/header sensor pipes - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

Ok, ive got a big problem. I installed a hotshot header a while back and in doing so i had to ghetto rig one of the pipes that are attached to the manifold, i couldn't get it to come off so i had to cut it, its a long elaborate story, so im going to spare you of it. in the end i ended up making a peace to connect it back together with some couplets and what not and some jb weld, it lasted for a couple months and did great, but now its blown loose. what i need to know is, is it ok to just plug the hole in the header pipe and the hole in the intake manifold and just let it ride like that? the other little pipe that is lower down on the manifold is fine and works great. but its the one that runs from the manifold/header, which ever you may have, to the intake manifold that's busted. im not worried about legal emission issues or smog issues, or even if its legal, im in a small redneck town so it shouldn't be a problem, lol... all im worried about is if plugging these two holes will affect my horsepower, and or the life of my motor in any way. any help is GREATLY appreciated. thank you for your time!
