no, a very limited amount of them came without the 3rd brake light IIRC

IIRC Reagan signed into law that cars made after 1986 are required to have the 3rd brake light.

May be you're thinking of the early JDM S14 trunk lid (per Brian).

hmmmmm I have personally seen some s14's that have no 3rd brake light though, maybe they removed it with some custom work.
