Greddy Pulley on alternator

How do I lock alternator to switch out the pulley?

you dont...use an Impact and hold the pulley in place (wear some gloves)

I used channel Locks on the old pulley and a rubber strap wrench on the new pulley.

this^ If the alternator is on the car it helps to remove the radiator to get the impact in there
