i just got my 95, and can't stand the shift knob.  i've been looking for a while in magazines, sites, etc.  and can't really find one that i like.  i just keep going back to the (don't flame me!) s2000 style chrome knob.  would one of these fit??  our knobs are like glued on, right?  so would i have to glue it on??

Well, they're threaded on, but there's glue on the threads to keep it there. You can either get one that threads on, or you can get a Momo style shift knob which attaches with set screws on the sides.

I just put on a MOMO shift knob friday. My stock one just screwed right off (gotta twist forever though). Very easy installation, but I had to go back and reinstall it cuz I didn't put on the adapter that came with it and it got loose. So I had to go back and tighten it. I like it, Chrome w/ leather sides (Cobra style). The only thing is the boot cover doesn't come all the way to the knob. I'll have to rig something up. OR does anyone know where I can get another shift boot cover thats real leather???
