I need to get a new fuel pressure regulator for my blacktop SR. I am either going to get a sard one and set it to stock fuel pressure for now, or i am going to get a brand new OEM one. What do you think the better choice is? They cost the same amount and cost is not an issue in this case. I just want to make the smartest move.

Let me know what you think and why.

I am running a Walbro 255, stock injectors, stock MAF, stock turbo and don't plan on going above 10 psi.

SARD Part # 69010

Or Stock SR20DET FPR Nissan Part #22670-52F00

We all know what this one looks like lol.

It's pointless to buy the sart.

OEM works fine, up to like 400+ hp.

So you're definitely in the clear.

No point messing with a good thing.

Yeah, im trying to find someone else that has it running on an SR just set to stock Fuel pressure. I want it to replace the stock unit and be just as reliable etc.

Can anyone translate Japanese or pull any info from these graphs? What exactly is going on here?

I'm running a Sard FPR and I'm very satisfied. Make sure to get a pressure gauge, cuz it'll be very convenient to monitor your fuel pressure. Stock fuel pressure is around 14-15psi? Not sure, correct me if I'm wrong. If it's running rich, just adjust it, lol.

Oh and watchout for knock-offs. There's an abundance and they look almost exactly the same.

I'm running an Aeromotive FPR. I'm also very satisfied, but have the added perk of being able to read all the documentation.

Stock fuel pressure is 35psi at idle and 43.5psi at WOT... at least on a KA... I assume similar numbers on an SR but replace WOT w/ full boost.

14-15psi is a lot closer to carb'd fuel pressures, which I've heard ranging from 7-12 psi of fuel pressure.

What part number is yours? Also what setup is it on? It definitely should be set to 43-44 at idle without the vacuum line attached.

If you are ever going to build bigger you may want to go.with something with flexibility like an aeromotive or fuelab.

Stay with stock regulator. If you going for bigger power later on get bigger fuel injectors. I don't see why people use fuel regulator when their car is not even 400whp. Only use fuel regulator when you using 1000cc injectors and it already running full cycle. Cheap out on getting a bigger injectors and pushing the small injectors with regulators will give you problem in long run.
What's wrong with the one you having right now?

You should get adjustable FPR, because a high flow fuel pump usually bumps the pressure about 10psi higher. So if you got higher flowing pump and want stock pressure you need to get the adjustable FPR.

Mine is part number: SR69010

I'm running a KA-T with a T28 at stock psi. My stock fpr was shot after 5k miles with the turbo. I'm guessing the Walbro was forcing too much fuel and the stock fpr couldn't handle it.

Hahaha, I was way off on the fuel pressure...
