I dont know how you do it in denver but in P.A. we dont worry about legializing cars for road use. besides motorex is pretty wicked expensive when it come to make jap cars legal in the states.

Yea we dont worry about legalizing cars here in Cali either because we like to get buttraped in federal prison. But I see youre from PA and I know that there is no police force in that state so you should be ok.

It's not a denver issue dumbass. The issue is that the car was never impported to this country and therefore does not carry the required DOT approval on things like crashworthiness and emmissions. Same reason the SR is not legal here. It's a lot easier to get an engine here and claim it's for off road use than it is to show up and customs and try to drive home in your illegal car.

Right now Motorex has gone through the procedures to legalize the car here and are among the only game in town, hence the high prices.

How about RB Motoring?

Destructo - I wouldn't run the risk of driving an illegal car on the streets. If you get pulled over or get into any type of an accident your FUCKED!

Do not pay anyone $6k to legalize a car for you. Just do it yourself for free.

Motorex is not the only business that can import and legalize an R34.

check the Skyline board at freshalloy.com. talk to sean morris, he is probably the leading authority on skylines in the US. as of right now, motorex is still the ONLY way to legally get a Skyline in the US. dont believe other people when they tell you "oh my friend can" or "all you gotta do is blah blah blah". Motorex has parts of the modification process held confidential, so no other RI (or shop, whatever) can do it. and modification is the ONLY way to do it legally (no loop holes, theyre cracking down on those). do some research.
