SR DEEPEST SR exhausts

hey

first, yes i searched!

right now, i have a redtop SR with basic bolt ons...my exhaust setup is HKS downpipe, test pipe, and apexi dual N1s..

i was wondering what exhausts out there are deeper than the dual N1s..i like the sound of it, but i want it more aggressive sounding(deeper)..i have heard the greddy DD and the RSR GT2, and both sound deeper, but louder...

i DONT care how loud it is, i just want it deeper than what i have...from what i have heard the trust DD/PE2/TR EVO 2, RSR, and the GT spec are some of the deepest...is there anyone who has heard multiple exhausts that could give me their opinions on the different exhausts, regarding the deepest...i just wanna weigh my options and see what is out there...any opinions and advice are welcome...has anyone heard JIC, uras, GP sports, trust PE2, trust EVO2, RSR, HKS, ETC...

also, what exhaust has good clearance for lowered cars??i scrape my duals everynow and then on speed bumps...
Jon

I know the deepest SOHC KA exhaust, wonder if it would work on an SR...see that is the problem, I don't know...but if you want to hear mine, I can send you an mp3 to your email.

PM me..

I bet it would sound good on an SR..but no telling actually.

Bigger pipes, resonator, free flow cat and midas stock 2 pipe performance muffler...it is real nice, loud when you romp..not any Shhhhhhhhssshhh.

I had Apexi N1 and I'm using DD now. Here's my 2 cents:

Don't get N1 if ground clearance is an issue. My N1 scraped the ground everytime I hit a pothole or going in/ out of my own driveway.

DD offers the most ground clearnce on s13 (probably s14 as well), with silencers DD sounds just like my N1 (deep but not loud), without silencers it is VERY LOUD, kinda like a gutted motorcycle's exhaust.

My SR pulls harder in low-end & mid-range with DD.

Yes the DD comes with silencers. You'll go deaf without them, especially if your car is NA

I have the HKS Hi Power with the rear section removed, so basically just running no muffler. Its so deep that when I start the car in the morning I shake the tower windows where I live, and I park four rows back. Its really loud also, so I would expect that the cops in the states would bug the heck out of you, but here in japan no one seems to care.

if you live in japan and drive a silvia do you have to list the SR as a mod?

Steeles,

How is the ground clearance on that YF exhaust?? I'm currently looking at the Blitz Nur Spec (because of full SS), but I'm worried about the ground clearance on the Blitz (w/sportline + agx+ 45 series 16" tires)...and then I saw your YF. Looks very nice. I'd love to see some pics installed if you have them (or wav clip).

thanks,

-M
