ok dumb question i know ... dont bash me
long story short... in the canyons ran over a nice size rock
result damaged oil pan slighty bent sway bar

luckily id ordered new sway bars f&r already.... however my question: what side is the oil pick up on, is it close to the the drain plug (so father to the right)???

the left side of the pan is bent up something nice (no cracks or leaks thankfully).... drove back home on the freeway no over heating so im guesing (fingers crossed) its alright...

whats the question for? you need to open it up and bash it straight... for best result.. otherwise you might loose oil capacity to the head cylinder.

thanx for the quick fix info... i guess the main question is in relation to the oil pan what side is the oil pick up on ..... wondering if i damaged it aswell

Its in the front kind of centered. Id pull the pan and check. Especially somethimg as important as that
