last week i thought i had a problem with my engine or turbo, but i was wrong. When i got it checked out they said it was the gasket between the turbo and the downpipe. Well today i was headed back from my sisters place and i didn't get any boost at all. The turbo didn't kick in at all, and once the car got past 3500 rpm the car didn't even go really quickly after that. It seemed like the car was lacking the air after 3500 rpm. I the air fuel gauge was really rich at that time.. I won't get my exhaust till next week so i think i will be riding it out like that for 1.5 weeks. Any suggestions?<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>?

What does getting your exhaust have to do with the gasket between the turbo flange and the downpipe? Your exhaust will connect to your premuffler, which is a downpipe and a muffler downstream. Get a new gasket now, why wait.

I agree with Crazycuban.. Do it now. Your running rich because something is wrong with the turbo. It's probably not spinning, or is being bogged down severly, and it's not allowing any air to go in. If the turbo doesn't spin, then you have a severely restriced situation. Sounds like it could be more trouble than you think.

well guys.. i was wrong about the gasket between the turbo and down pipe.. it the gasket between the turbo and manifold.. i am having someone look at it this weekend.. i need to get gasket fabricated or ordered.. thanks for helpp.. turbo is fine.. thanks
