Hey guys, i've got time to kill, and a lot of expensive shop equipment, so i'm looking to get a good KA or other longblock requiring a good rebuild, to do some extensive mods. Anything with rod knock etc. running/not running OK.

No thrown rods or holes in block, please.

Donations are accepted as well, the cheaper the better.

And FREE is best.

Also, if anyone needs SUPER CHEAP porting/boring/honing/ etc, i may be able to help.

EDIT9.21.10: If anyone would kindly like to donate their DOHC heads or blocks for practice, i will machine it for free. PM if interested.

$20?? dang that's cheap. i have a bottom end with minor detonation damage which can be bored out and sleeved. 2 complete heads. 1 is already decked, tested with new OEM valvestem seals. $250 for all or $100 each.

I have my Old KA im trying to get rid of...It still ran but knocked a bit...it might just be that u have to adjust the valves....I want $200 obo...its still has starter, alternator (brand new), manifold, ect....

Hmm... 1jz is definitely an interesting prospect, but i'm looking mainly for KA. Gonna do some experimenting to see how much hp as i can out of it N/A, because it's going into my car. =]

Yummm! The only reason I decided to go turbo over NA is price vs hp :/ but as you stated you've got hookups..so I'm interested to see what you come up with!!

me too, i'm gonna employ as much engine knowledge as i can to get a solid KA. High comp pistons/cams/titanium valve train/race port/valve job/overbore. We shall see what this block is capable of. =D

i got a disassembled s14 longblock, with surface rust on black, crank and head, i want 40 for the longblock

have a ka block and head. started to overheat. assuming head gasket. had about 200k miles. son of a bitch ran strong. 100 bucks. also in rancho. come look. let me know

I have two dohc motors one has a rod knock and the other has a blown head gasket. I'll sell you both of them for $500 and they both come with 5 speed tarnnys lmk pm me if interested.
