How do wheel spacers affect drifting?
Just curious if wheel spacers would affect drifting in any way? I want to say yes, but i'm not sure. I recently added 20mm up front and 30mm in the rear for a flush look on the track. But I havent drifted with them yet...

^he speaks from experience,
i am just quoting spacer manufacturers that claim spacers improve handling by widening wheel base & lowering the center of gravity, etc etc. you could also say they improve breaking performance by allowing you to fit bigger brake systems/calipers if your current wheels do not allow... |

i agree with the guy up there.^
I was running 20mm rear, 25mm up front to keep my wheels off my coilovers, never had any problems on the track or anywhere else.

I think this guy means like.... if he puts a 20mm up front and a 30mm out back.
is it going to change how his car feels, like is it going to understeer now because the slight stagger? or oversteer? whats going to happen? maybe im wrong... if so, carry on. |

yes, handling is affected. wider stance, car feels like it has more grip, but when broken loose, the car feels more stable...all of this is my personal opinion of what I felt affected when adding spacers/ and wider wheels.
more forward movement. |
