s13 I ordered my SR today!!!

Well guys, GREAT news, I ordered my SR today. This has been a craving for the longest time. When I had my first 240, the money for the swap was never there, so I sold it and I bought a Civic Hatch with a B18 motor swap, which was fast, but not quite RWD. I couldn't stay away. So about 3 weeks ago i bought a 93 Red SE coupe, sold the hatch, and I went to Epik in Mrytle Beach, SC (GREAT store and people I might add) and ordered all of my stuff..... for now.

Here's what's on the way......

The SR of course
Stainless Downpipe and Test Pipe
Full 3" exhaust (Not sure what kind yet)
Front Mount Innercooler
GReddy Type-R BOV
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
Apexi Turbo timer
Boost gauge in a single pod on the pillar

Suspension is still in the working, this just means I can't act stupid for a while. lol. Anyway guys, I'll take some pictures of the coupe and I'll keep you posted about the SR.

That's badass dude, you must've been saving for a while to be able to order all those parts at once! May I asked how much it came out total?

Well I got all the money from the hatch. I sold it for $5500 and then the total of all that stuff was $5500. But that is including install and shipping and tax.

Thanks, I just got the Project Silvia Exhaust in, I got the one in titanium. Jeff at Epik hooked me up, he got the exhaust for $400 instead of $690. Great shop, great people.

Point of your post was????? Yes, I could do the swap myself if I had the tools, I don't have anything to get the motor out with, and they also offer a warranty on the install. It's not like I can give myself one.

so you're telling me that for $1000, you can't buy yourself a nice set of tools and an engine hoist? My warantee is that i'm awesome and if something goes wrong, you learn something by diagnosing and subsequently fixing the problem. plus you get to keep the tools.

Well I have to agree with you there, and I would love those tools, but Epik's warranty is to great to pass up.

Hey man, dont trash him for paying someone to do work. That's why there's mechanics out there. I do about half of my own work. I'm too busy to do the other half. Working 6 days a week really cuts into the "working on my OWN car" time. And seeing as how I only have 1 car, I cant just do bits and pieces of a motor swap or a turbo upgrade at a time.
