weird rattle near control arm

ok soo i would be driving and everytime i would hit a small bumb the front left side feels like theres a lot of play between the arm. It makes a weird sound like there is something loose. i looked but saw nothing out of the ordinary. I replaced all my bushings already and i have stance coilovers. Feels like the coilovers but im not sure. thanks

If it's a clunking noise that you hear when going over bumps, I'd check your ball joints. It fits your "weird noises near control arm" description, so make sure the joints are all greased up and healthy.

My roommate has a similar problem on his 180. I read somewhere that it can be cuz of the pillowball mounts, we already ordered his new ones.

tighten the top nut on the pillow mount, its a 21mm, very common problem, dont trust "pre-ossembled" stuff.

Just crank the shit out of it. Double check your ball joint while you're down there though to see if there's a cotter pin through it. If not, make sure it's tight and put one in there. If it gets too loose, it'll start messing up your alignment every now and then.
