Hmm, to much to explain.

Excellent Tech on EBC's

Turbo Timers just keep your car running for a desired time after you turn the ignitoin off and remove your key. This helps cool the turbo after you drive hard and shut the motor off. It keeps the oil circulating enough so your turbo wont get heat soaked and cause it to fail over time.

...and they are completely unnecessary on a water-cooled turbo. Unless you have an aftermarket turbo without a water-cooled center section, this is a waste of $100.

A boost controller will hold in the neighborhood of 30psi easily, seeing as it is a simple valve that bleeds "Y" psi of air, fooling the wastegate/actuator into thinking its making "X" psi, even the turbo is running on "X + Y" psi. On EBCs, there are almost always a HI and LO setting, or A and B (depending on brand), and with a push of a button you can go from daily driving boost (6psi) to your racing boost (14psi).
