speedometer circuit board
took apart my cluster trying to do a solder job on the speedo.
had to remove the needle to remove the faceplate. upon trying to put everything back together, i think i fukd up on inserting the needle back into the motor. 1st test drive it would jump up to speed and then stick on deceleration. does any body know the proper way to reassemble it, because i know they sell after market faceplates. and you have to remove the needle to replace it, im lookin for the proper procedures. |

I believe there's some kind of potentiometer on the back side of the speedometer assembly that you can use to reset it. If I remember correctly, you need a philips-head screwdriver to adjust it (it looks like a screw).

the potentiometer just adjusts resistance for voltage to regulate the speedo.
what my question is, i removed the needle to take off the faceplate, how do i put the needle back in properly. cause now it just doesn't read at all. |
