idle issue in my s13
i have a 92 hatch with 95 s14 motor swap, 97 rebuilt head, aaaand a 5 spd conversion. now the problem is that the car runs great but at idle it runs higher than normal (like around 1500ish) but then drops to about 1k within 1-2 seconds and then all the suddon it starts dropping and rising repeatedly untill i give it gas again
-so far i tried replacing both coolant temp sensors, and i have the stock auto s13 ecu installed(thought this makes it idle higher but not fluctuate) can anybody shed any light on my problem its frustrating as hell??

there are alo of things to check bro
as well as many threads on this too like buentellomma said....check maf and vacuums also a basic tune up should help to get to the problem wire plugs spark plugs, o2 sensor, all them lil things GL i had idle problems forever!!! removing my emissions was the best thing i ever did to my car!!! |

maf is checked out..vacuum is good(i think) but i know i could remove all egr shiz since its an s14 motor anyway
pretty sure it could use an o2 since it runs pretty damn rich anyways thanks guys il try a few things and post here again
