OK the ECU isnt throwin any codes but heres the deal. she starts, she idles GREAT but she wont rev.... WTF. and there is a distinct rattle coming from cyl #3. not like omg somethings in there but just aan odd rattle. thanks for speedy replies.

prolly way off but sounds like a MAFS problem...if it doesn't read the correct increased air flow when you step on the pedal it wont adjust for the extra fuel and the car will bog and die usually..

Do a compression check, I don't have a good feeling about what you are saying on number 3.

ok did the compression test and things came out just fine. its weird, it just doesnt sound like its firing correctly. i mean, when i retarded the timing all the way , it actually idled better!! what is the problem here? i still have no throttle response and it seems like # 3 isnt firing...hm

it's possible one of your cams is somehow advanced a few degrees..thus retarding makes it idle better..

how would that happen and why wont my car rev up and why is #3 all weird? lifters? hm. this is killing me i need to drive.. :-( coudl the timing be 180 degrees off?

i don't even think it would start or idle at all if that was the case...or it might back fire out of the intake..

check spark plug wires. injectors plugs
my bro has a problem with the injector
it was the wiring of the injector had a bad connecting or something

I dont know what his pandra reference refers to but i kno that when i got my swap it was only firing on 2 cylenders, but everything was great, like compression and everything like that, well it turned out that it was wiring. So i would run through that again, It was wiring the wasn't evan involved in the swap, so check that out.
