So I got ran off the road...

I was driving in the middle lane down a 3 lane road. Switched to the outside lane, then accelerated to the speed limit. At that point I got cut off by an F-150 and forced off the road into a curb. Damaging 2 wheels, 2 tires, fron LCA, tie rod ends, and my ego.

So I found a good deal on an LCA, free but shot bushings... >_<

Then I found this on ebay. Linky What I'm wonding, since I haven't really taken a look, are the Lca's ball joints able to be removed? If so, I will cheap out one time before I get all my spl goodies. I just need to get around for a couple months until I get a DD.

Fuck that! FRSport want something like $70 per ball joint. Ridiculous!

Go to Rockauto.com. They're $27 for the same Moog ball joint.

you -can- remove them with a hammer but i'd rather take them to a shop and have them pressed out.

Send a message via Yahoo to ManoNegra
you need a cylindrical tool to press them out/in
else you risk damaging the control arm
I ended up making one

Go to Advance Auto Part and rent the tool. They should have it. I rent it twice, once for front ball joint and once for rear ball joint. It's pretty easy.
