I'm heading back to the states soon, and will be getting one of BW's new EFR lineup. It's still a toss up, but thinking along the lines of 6258 or 6758.

If I got 6758, I would like to go twin scroll to pick back up the small amount of spool lost. I believe this turbo will only come TS with a T4 Flange.

Now I know this turbo fits on a bottom mount (the T2 version). If the flange is the only main difference will it fit bottom mount as well. I'll just have to get a bottom mount twin scroll manifold (obviously).

Why not just go with a traditional top mount?

Mostly for ease of installation. If I go bottom mount, I should only need to change my manifold (if going twin-scroll), and possibly downpipe to fit the EFR turbo.

Also, I don't have to worry about cooking the Brake Master Cylinder, and other heat issues with top mount.
