uhh, thatsa downpipe, it mates to an internally wastegated turbo. why do you want to remove it?

It helps seal the two exhaust gasses. Or the burnt fuel air mixture from the intake that goes thru the wastegate. Leave it installed.

is not that i want to take it out.. i just wanted to know what is that for. lol. rigth now im using a regular elbow.. without that.

SOMEONE finally got it... That looks like a screamer pipe to me, and if you remove that little piece, you will have an EXTREME exhaust leak. DO NOT remove that piece. It's there to keep normal exhaust flow through your exhaust, while allowing all of the wastegated exhaust to flow out the "screamer pipe".

but i see that the air from the wastegate is not gonna pass thru the o2 sensor.

in that down pipe the O2 sensor is so close that its probably burnt up already anyway , and besides why would you care if it passes through or not, if you need a better explanacion pm me a number and i can explain it better
