I've been working on a project with some colleagues and fellow university students to help with the recent disasters in Japan. We are donating ALL proceeds to the Japanese Red Cross Society!

Our Mission Statement

Based in Tampa, FL, the founders of SaveJapanNow.com are a group of students, or more importantly friends, who have shared a passion for Japan since Elementary School. When the 9.0 earthquake and subsequent tsunami occurred on March 11th, 2011, they quickly saw the need to aid organizations and recovery efforts in order to assist those affected by the tragic events.

Taking into consideration what was being done with donations accepted by other organizations, the founders decided that setting up a direct-to-Japan donation system would be the best way to help. This way there is no question that the funds will reach Japan and in turn help the people displaced by the disaster. So in association with our Sponsors, the Japanese students of University of South Florida (USF), the local Japanese community, and the USF Japanese Club, SaveJapanNow.com is poised to help in whatever way they can.

ALL profits from t-shirt sales or from standard donations made through us will go to the Japanese Red Cross Society, rather than other branches, such as the American Red Cross, which are completely separate with only a certain percentage reaching Japan.

The Japanese Red Cross Society is a highly respectable and legitimate source for receiving donations.

We hope that if you are reading this you will find it in your heart to support the people of Japan in this time of tragedy and need. No amount is too small or too large, anything and everything helps.
