just got done installing it. one question: for the rear ones, on the bottom of the shock theres a black thing-a-ma-jig that sticks out on one side and doesn't on the other (this is on the hole where you bolt it up). does that thing-a-ma-jig that sticks out point toward the inside of the car or toward the tire? i put it in pointing the tire and bolted it in. is that correct? thanks..

I pointed those trumpets in towards the diff as well; I figure the subtle difference in angle would give an unnoticably stiffer ride by having the actual shock body closer to the wheel -- that is, it would have less of a lever-effect, hence a marginally stiffer ride.
That said, I don't honestly believe it makes a difference which way you point it. ![]() |
