Ok so I just got a Z32 maf and I wanted to install it, but someone told me you can't just hook it up and go. I know you have to wire it up differently, but can you plug it in and drive or do you have to get a tune for it run right? Somebody wise give me the answer.

You need either an ecu or an SAFC that is able to read the air how the z32 measures it.

The sr/z32 maf read air differently.

Thanks. I'm probably going to get an ECU tune since I've recently upgraded turbos and other things. Do you think they can tune my ECU for the Z32 mad or do I need some kind of chip like Nistune or something?

Enthalpy, Jim Wolf, and most all can turn their systems to run a different maf.
