Wheel help
I want to put some 17x9 xxr 962's on my hatchback and i need to know 2 things
1- What is the biggest tread width i can put on my wheels? I have a pair of 245 40 17s 2-Would i need spacers for the wheels? |

depends on the offset.
But thats pretty big. I run 38mm spacers up front to clear my 17x9 XXR's i also run 50mm bolt on spacers inthe back, but i have 50mm over fenders. So I would just test fit the rim onto your car, and have a look at what will clear. I think i run 40 series, 215, 17's Fedral 595's. I ran some Direzza 255/40/17's on it for a track event. I took the over fenders off and the front fenders. Then i took a huge hammer, and beat the outer firewall back on both sides about 3 inches. (i can now see a sliver of daylight through the seem on the passenger side. And they barely cleared. i would run something a bit smaller, like my other set up of 215's,maybe 225's. |
