S13 SR20det Vacuum line setup
Hey, guys I know there's been several topics regarding the vacuum line all over the net, which is great but at the same times it concerns me because of mixed answer and suggestions. I just want this car to run safely
So here is my question I need to know which vacuum hose is hooked to the FPR on the s13 SR20DET Current my set up is: Top left nipple at the throttle is for my BOV and boost gauge Top right is going to the canister Bottom of the throttle going to the canister I've been reading and see people hooked up it to the top left where the BOV and boost gauge is. However on another website they have theirs hooked up to the top right. My car is running but kinda rich I never connected anything to the FPR left it open. Anyways, how do you guys personally have your Vacuum setup |

I wouldnt...NEVER EVER T-off shit off the FPR line. The FPR should always have one line dedicated to it. More shit you T-off on it, the more chance of you getting a leak causing the FPR to not work properly. FPR dropping your fuel pressure at WOT...one of the best way to lean out the engine and blow it up.

This is what I meant when I said it was confusion because of different suggestion , however do you think it is okay to right bov and boost gauge on the same line then? to the nipple on the right

I'm going to say this. Have you ever seen the stock vacuum line routing?
Okay I have the vacuum T'd from the Fpr to a vacuum/boost gauge and i can see if it ever looses vacuum or whatever! There is no right way to run these lines, but your current routing of no fpr vacuum is wrong! Quote:
Again I monitor my boost, as you should if you see the boost is not correct or even if you vacuum is not correct get out and check something, but if you have noway of monitoring any changes how will you know. Ultimately you need to decide for yourself. My routing works for me and has for quite awhile. I have never rebuilt this engine, but if it blows right now, I would have gotten every penny i put into it out of it. My SR is probably older then your license!
