CA TRADE: 1988 Toyota MR2 Superchaged

Looking to trade my 1988 Toyota MR2 Supercharged. Running and driving and all things work. I have too many projects plus my wife needs a 4 door. Willing to trade for LS400, Q45, 96 up 4runner (V6 only) and the likes.

Pros:
* Clean title in hand
* Currently registered
* Recently smogged so new owner doesn't need to smog it.
* 154,xxx
* 14x7 Panasports
* Black leather interior
* Brand new battery
* HKS intake
* Momo steering wheel

Cons:
* It is starting to overheat. It only overheats on freeway speeds on steep grades. You can drive it all day long on the side street and does not overheat. No mixing of oil and coolant. I think there is a head gasket leak between the cylinder and coolant jackets and letting air into the cooling system. I already have the Felpro head gasket kit that will go with the car.
* Paint needs a buff or maybe a repaint.
* Dent on front bumper as a lady backed up on to it.
* A few rips on the leather seats.
* It has the usual T-tops leaking but barely.

Overall the car is decent shape for its age. This should be a good runner after a head gasket is installed. I really do not have time to finish this project as I have waaaaay to many projects. Gets great gas mileage specially when gas looks like it's going to hit over $5 by this summer. AC works

Ha! Got rid of my 03 SV1000s and 07 GSR1000 before I got married. I do miss riding though. My wife would chop off my balls and serve them to me on a silver plate if I got another one lol. I have always wanted one of these mr2's! I have a 1991 lifted 4runner if you are interested. Sadly it also needs the headgaskets replaced, I do have the parts to fix it also. Its auto, 33" tires, ect.

Thanks for the offer but I also don't have time to work on it. Plus I needed the next gen 4runner as it will see light duty towing. If I was single still I would be all over this lol. Plus my wife is short, she would need a ladder to climb up & down that thing lol.

Just an update:

Finally went to my SMOG tech friend and put the sensor on the coolant spout to read if there are any HC present in the cooling system. There was, the lowest output was 15ppm and as high as 50ppm. This tells me that there is a very slight leak in the HG between the cylinder and the coolant holes. That is why it doesn't overheat until freeway speeds and with an incline. A big leak would be around 300ppm and above.

Kinda true. This will hopefully be my last 240Z (7th S30) and will build it slowly. I like it also but too many cars and wife says "it's gotta go" lol.
