I did. Used Insultherm to loom the entire harness in the enginebay and everything else is tucked under the dash, with the chassis fuse box mounted with access through the passenger air bag door.

Because to bore has been increased to 90mm and the stroke has not been changed. You can also stroke the motor, Brian Crower has a kit, and it will then be about a 2.4 liter.

Have you dynoed the car or is 450 just an estimate? Also was the work done by yourself or a shop? Receipts for any of the build?

Car was on the dyno and tuned on the dyno which made 420hp at 20psi. Car is still running the same tune, but the motor setup is different because the block had a small crack in the sleeve of #1, which is why the block is sleeved now and bored to 90mm. I estimate that the new setup and a healthy motor should put it around 450 if not higher. Can be tuned to whatever you like, weakest link in the block is the Eagle Rods which are supposed to be good for up to 600hp.
The original setup was done by a shop as was the tune. This motor was assembled by me in my garage. I am particular about things so I didn't want to leave the build up to a shop that could cut corners. I took my time putting the motor together and using only good parts. Sleeves were installed by Darton. |

Sorry no trades, planning on picking up a new vehicle. Not interested in parting the engine, but if you buy the motor for $8750 I'll throw in the car for free.
