Ok heres the deal..

I've done days of research on the issue of no tach signal. I have tried all the suggested fixes that I have found and none work. It seems everyone has this issue but no one has the fix. I haven't found even one thread in a forum where the issue was fixed.

My situation exactly... I have aa redtop sr swapped into my s13 coupe. Its not a normal swap because everything is JDM spec. I bought a front clip and converted the car RHD as well as the sr swap. Everything plugged up fine and the car started instantly, no issues other than tach signal. My JDM spec gauge cluster has been installed as well. Speedometer works, tach doesn't. I found the plug by my ecu with the yellow/red wire. I hard wired it to my aftermarket Pivot Tach, no luck. Also that plug is just open, I can't find anything to even plug into it along with another white plug on the second ecu type box. I'm running an activerom ecu.

Please help.
