Im sure some of you guys heard.. Pretty devastating. Its been years since I followed Indycar so I wasn't too aware.

I grew up on indycars, but sometimes think about how dangerous the sport is. He just won the Indy 500 a few months ago.

That was a crazy crash, and after I had seen the amount of cars involved, I'm surprized that there was not more.... RIP

How terrible.

RIP.

This is why I dislike oval racing, they're too bunched up, no margin for error.

What lead to his death? Did he get airborne? Are IndyCar cockpits to the same safety as those used in F1?
