Well guys I have a question concerning my latest purchase.

I just purchased a set of Apex World Sports coilovers... I was originally planning on getting Koni Yellows / RS*R race springs.
BUT I was able to purchase a set of brand new World Sports for 750 shipped instead.

I currently have a set of 17x7.5 gram lights at +30 offset with 225/45 Falken Azenis , will I need to run a spacer to clear the coilovers, or will I be fine?

I tried searching, I thought there was info on this in FAQ/Archives, but I was unable to find it.

I have z32 wheels on my s13

they are 16x7.5 and 45 offset

I have to run 12mm wheel spacers and looks like it gives me about 10mm of clearance from stock struts.

since yours is 30 offset they should be ok.

If you would of searched harder you could of find out for yourself.

But anyway, the wheels themselves will clear the coilovers. However since a 225 in Azenis is wider than most 225s you may be cutting it real close with the tire size itself. Just try it out, if not then run a 5mm spacer, OR run a 215 tire. 215 is a better size for 7.5" rim IMO.

I believe you will need 5 mm spacers minimum.

7.5 +22 clears coilovers. 7.5 +32 needs a 5 mm spacer. also like was said the azenis have a wider section width.

EDIT: for s13 I don't know what car you have

alrighty, it looks like I need to get a spacer then.

should I go with about a 10mm spacer? Where should I get one of these. I know PDM racing has some, but i dont know if they are quality or what.

when it comes to the whole issue of spacers I'm dumb... I've never had them, never really had any reason to deal with them.
I know that there are several different types, but not sure what they are and the differences.

i just got some world sports a couple months ago. they're good fun, and you can get HELLA LOW! just be sure you can fix the camber in back. peace.

ive had 16x7.5 with +40 offset fit fine with coilovers. It all depends on the coilover, or atleast from what ive read. oh and i just ran 5mm spacers in the front for now, as there was maybe 2mm of clearance which i wasnt fond of, but the +40 fit and didnt rub, hope that helps

Any performance shop can order spacers for you. But if you want cheap, I got mine from NAPA autoparts. Most likely they wont' have the size you want.

If you want the right ones, I'd suggest going to a performance shop and have them order you some. Be careful what kinds you order.

Some spacers come with the studs on them, and u may have to shorten your studs, some don't come with studs, and u need to get longer studs.

From what I've read, H&R spacers are really good with arp studs.

I thought with the H&R spacers they mounted directly to the STOCK studs, then you mounted the rim to the studs that are attached to the Spacer.

do you guys think I should run about a 15mm spacer or so If I go to buy the H&R spacer. is ECS tuning still the best place to buy these?

that would make it the equivolent of 17x7.5 +15

I think you'll only need 5 mm spacers. and parts store can get get this in 4x114.3 or 5x114.3 (you still have said what car you have hehe)

you don't need longer studs for this and they are cheap.

HeelToe automotive... I believe the sale ended today.

and on the whole FLEX question... NO, if they had flex's for same price I definately would have gotten those.

the ones from pdm which are a 1/4 inch would be a 6.35mm, and are relatively cheap.

would I be fine with these, or would I need to get longer studs?

It says int he product description that 10-40mm spacers just use longer studs.
The ones greater than 40mm are the ones mounted onto the stock studs and hub and extend
