this is my engine pic, and i dont know if this is s13 red top or s14 red top.

I want to hook up the AC but I dont know which bracket should use (even if i find the bracket kit from other ppl)

so yeah I know this is red top cuz previous owner told me.

so yeah how do i know if which engine is this?

Looks like an S13 blacktop sr, unless it's a red top with a black valve cover lol

someone can correct me if i'm wrong, but there's little difference in the s13 redtop and s13 blacktop, but the blacktop has fins on the front, and the redtop doesn't, also they use different o2 sensors -> skinny for redtop (62 ecu) & "fat" for blacktop (e5 ecu)

Also, it's definitely a s13 sr20 because there's no slant @ the back of the valve cover...

yeah, rwd 13 sr is the only info you should need to get the correct bracket.
just make sure you do your homework

S13 blacktop. Late model you can see the fins in the front of the head. If you don't know how to identify your motor. You should source the parts and then take it to a reputable shop and let them put it on. Good luck.

Sounds like you need to stick to vtec.

The pic you posted is of an s13 SR. If the head has heat sink fins on the front of it it's a blacktop. If not, it's a red top.

it's an S13 SR. you can tell an S14,S15 SR from a mile away from the VTC bulge on the valve cover. plus. the S13 intake manifold won't bolt up to an S14,15 SR.

Dammit the op is a dumbass all s13 black tops from 94 to 98 had fins. no redtop ever had fins on front of the motor 89 to 94 was when the redtop was produced u have a s13 black top i can see fins in pic. if u seen a redtop with fins its got the wrong valvecover on it the next dumbass thread i see im gunna shoot myself.
