SR Running extremely rich

Ok so i just finished my sr swap but im still not driving it because it is runnung very rich. I mean i put prand new NGK plugs in and they are already fuel fouled. Also the oil is already pretty black, the level went up and you can smell the gas in it. I read this thread

http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.p...highlight=rich

and i do have the walbro fuel pump. And i also saw this
http://www.store.yahoo.com/phase2mot...dfuelpres.html
is this a possible reason for my problem or should i look elsewhere. I'm willing to listen to any possibilities even if tis not what i want to here. (also i leak in the intercooler pipin wouldn't cause this would it, I don't think i have one but i'm just lookin for any possible causes. And what about a bad MAFS)
thanks a lot guys.

with a decent sized vacuum leak it would run rich as hell, pressure test your piping

search man.
I personally have posted about this many times.
the walbro puts out huge fuel compared to stock, it WILL make you run rich if you don't, at the very least, have an adjustable FPR to tone it down some.

I was wondering, doesn't the ecu adjust the A/F mixture?

run the car, and then pull the plugs, and get a flashlight to see if there is gas in the chamber.... if its alot, let it evaporate out,...

then unplug the injectors, and turn the car over.. if you are still getting fuel in the chamber, then you have a leaky injector... i had one... it SUCKED!!! couldnt figure out what was going on to save my life... until the whole cylinder filled with gas....

if you have q's message me
