that is all.

drift speed: 150KPH

do the conversion to find out how fast that drift is. that car is sick. i think its a 1jzgte though. i want a 2jz for US parts availability.

Ditto. I was lookin for one as well. Found a couple 5spds but they were like 12k for a 11 year old car. I was not ready for that. Im pretty happy with my purchase.

wow if the only ones you found were 12k for 5 speeds, you were looking in the wrong places.

My wife wants one and I have been looking for about a month and a half now, but all of them have either been too expensive or out of state. I know there are a few 5 speed SC300s for sale in SoCal right now, but I don't have the cash in hand to go get them.

Most likely I will be flying to Florida or Cali in January to go pick one up for her. So if any of you happen across a 5-speed bluish silver one with black or grey leather interior for 8.5k or less, let me know

First few mods we have in mind are JIC FLT-A2's, Supra TT wheels, brakes and torsen diff, and Daizen swaybars. This should prove to be an interesting project...

naah the 5-speed swap is too much of a pain in the ass. Iit is much more complex to get an auto SC and then convert to the GTE 6-Speed, than it is to get one that is already a 5 speed and drop in the GTE/6-speed combo.

lol, this is gonna be my wife's car, and she friggin' hates purple, so that is pretty much out of the question

I think they stole too many styling aspects from the S13, and then added weight. Meh.

I'd hate to see the insurance quote on a Lexus for a H.S. student. On the other hand, my insurance company classifies the 240sx as "a 2 door economy car". I was was lovin it when I heard that. I thought to myself "hmm...a torquey RWD car with a light rear end......hmmmm...are you sure it's not more??".

you're smoking crack right? Have you ever seen an SC in person? They look NOTHING like the S13...

(however, they do look a bit like the S14 at certain angles )

Here is a Soarer I saw outside an Autobacs in Tokyo. I'll tell you what, this would be the damn hottest street driven drift car you could ever think of... so bling and luxry it is, especially inside. I want one SO BAD!

I love it. Chrome wheels, stretched tires, rolled fenders, Vertex aero, stock wing, manual, and coilovers lower than Dousan's sperm count.

Fuckin unreal. I'm getting this or a damn Kouki S14 next. RPS13s are... meh. At least Onevias are still cool.

yea, sc's are really sweet car. one of my friend has had one as a daily driver and he just got done dropping a turbo down. put down around 299 hp and 298 ft/lbs. stock everything with auto tranny. those cars are so slow stock, he def needed something in there. sykikchimp can testify to that, haha.

steeles, haha. make sure he doesn't take off your tow hook

Ha......my friends and I are helping our other friend Matt get the final stages of his Soarer conversion done on his SC within the next few weeks or so. Here's a page of the ongoing work.....long story short. He bought a clip from Japan and paid $6,000 for it. Little did he know that the clip he bought had over $20,000 worth of parts on it....

http://www.brevardmotorsports.org/projectsoarer.htm

Front and rear Alcon brakes (6 and 4 piston repectively)
Greddy T78 turbo....tons!!!!!

Car is at Autotuner now getting the final quirks out in regards to the wiring...shooting for an easy 600 rwhp...hehehhe

Yeah I would have to say something such as that is considered VERY lucky. In regards to the brakes he actually sold them on E-bay for $2,000 I believe. For some odd reason he wanted to stick with some OEM Supra callipers (might have been a fitment problem....don't know....

The list is truly amazing with the stuff that came on that clip. We have a japanese friend who, believe it or jot, traced down the owner of the car thru some connections in Japan and came to find that the car was a well known "Big-dog" on the streets over there.....found out he t-boned a telephone pole doing 70pmh on a rainy night......sucks for him...good for us....lol
