Please tell me what's wrong with my car!!

OK, I have a 93 fastback. This morning, it started making the weirdest loud noises ever. It goes clunk*clunk*clunk*clunk and it's coming from the rear, like under my trunk kinda. It only does it when I'm braking or coasting or when I push the clutch in, but not when I'm accelerating. It's so freakin' loud. It does NOT do it when I use the e-brake to slow down, though. Anybody know what it could be? ANY help or suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks so much!

check to see if your stock diff pinapple slices are still there, i dont have any on my car right now and it does it at low rpm shifts and in rev.

just go pick up some poly urethane pinapples if you lost your stock ones.
