Electrical Short?

I have been having this problem for quite somtime.

Basically whenever I start my car the 10 amp meters fuse will blow, the one that is located in the driver side kick panel.

I can go a few weeks with no problems, but then it will start again. I have since installed a 10 amp breaker since fuses are exspensive.

I have noticed that before the fuse is going to blow the speedometer will stop working and the parking brake light will come on, then it will blow.

Most often it will happen when the door is open, but has blown with the door closed. The door chime thing will come on after that, but will not chime when the fuse is still good and the door is open.

Here is the modifications to my car. I have removed all the auto belts, and computer under center console. SR redtop.

That is all I have modified, I even went back and checked all the wiring by the ecu and taped off a few exposed wires and what not under that plastic cover.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,
