KA (KAT) turbo choice (opionions needed)

How many Guys with the KA's would perfer this turbo ?

Garret/Airesearch T4 turbo , Serial# SH0170E, Model: TO4B8. Compressor A/R: .60 and Turbine AR is: 1.0.

or

Hks GT2540

The HKS has an internal wastegate but im looking to change out to External

my goal is to push near 300 hp mark ...

The hks has ball-bearing but its a T25 ? (correct?)

the T04B turbo should be a bigger turbo (size compare to the HKS)

Which turbo would you guys choose for the KA ? I need some opionions before I go ahead and purchase either one ...thank you

Hks GT2540

straight t4 is huge overkill, maybe a t3/4 hybrid

There's no way to say this without coming off as a dick, so I will be this time, I hear this thing right here has all the answers, especially the ones that have been kicked around quite a bit, feel free to call me names now...

Yeah....the TO4B with the 1.0 A/R exhaust isn't gonna work. I saw that turbo in the classifieds also.......that guy selling it never should have inferred it would work on anything on this board (CA,KA, SR) "this turbo makes serious power"...yeah...on a V6 Grand National.

You could always buy a different A/R for the exhaust side (.63 or .70), but you'd have to know the trim of the wheel. Might as well just goto www.cheapturbos.com and get one there for a few hundred more.

Ive done the Search many times ...and im not a newb when it comes to Turbos ..im mainly asking for those who have more experince in the HKS turbo or (B) housing ... 2 years ago I built my U13 altima with a T3/T04E with a/r 57 , with help from BYP,
Well the car didnt last 5 months before it got stolen ...so a fullly built KA altima motor is out somewhere in South FL that use to be mines.... this is my 2nd altima and im just doing a basic kit since I blew all my funds before , im not new to the KAs but I wanted some feedbacks before I purchase a USED turbo , Thank you for those who have reply...I think I will go with the HKS and rebuild it.

Both of those turbos suck for a KA. Go with TO4E.

It would work well on something on this board, although a minority, that being anyone who swapped a RB25 into their car
