I don't know if this is a national, california, or just bay area thing, but I've been noticing a lot more imports pulled over with their hoods popped lately. Just last night, I saw 2 Integras and a CRX pulled over. But today was the terrible part, as I saw a s13 pulled over with its hood popped and the cop inspecting it.

just wondering if anybody else noticed this increased CHP crap

I live in So. Cali and I haven't noticed an increase in CHPs patrolling. Just don't drive like a maniac and the CHPs won't have reason to pull you over.

oh yea, i know, ive only been pulled over once, like 6 months ago for a 75 in a 65, but it was just odd to me to see so many cars with their hoods popped. i guess a lot of people are scrambling to swap engines in time to see a referee
