check fuel pressure, check your maf wiring. a bad maf usually won't let you rev over 2k-2500rpm.

Step one: acquire fuel pressure gauge
Step two: install gauge in fuel feed line
Step three: turn key to accessory position, Allow pump to prime, and monitor gauge. (you may have to cycle key a few times to build pressure in the rail)
Step four: if pressure looks good so far, start
Engine and monitor Pressure while engine is running. If you try to rev the engine and fuel pressure drops dramatically, then you know you have a fuel supply problem.
