Anyone done it? I have only been able to find a couple 4.8 turbo build threads, and a few 5.3 turbo build threads on the web.

Does anyone on here besides oneoverwrx, or booztd have a 4.8/5.3 turbo 240?

I'd also like to see the performance of a stock 4.8 or stock 5.3 in a 240sx...Just trying to see the cheaper alternatives to the LS1/2/3/6/7.

Plenty of z71's with 1000awhp 4.8's and 5.3's. Check out LS1Tech. You can ask me any specifics you might have.

HotRod magazine pushed 1200bhp with a factory 4.8 from a junkyard with a Ebay CX Racing turbo kit..

I was just stating how tough the engine is. Noone NEEDS 4 digit horsepower. Do I personally want it? Hell yes I do.
You could do a simple single t4 around 8psi on a factory engine and make over 400whp for yard sale prices. Still get great gas mileage and Chevy reliability.

Or you can buy my 500hp Mitchell Racing built SR with zero miles and I'll build a turbo 5.3...
