88' Z31 Turbo LSD into 96' SE

Just wondering how much work, or if it is even worth it to swap an 88' Z31 lsd into my 96' SE. I tried searching, didn't quite find the info I needed. I can pick up the diff for cheap, but don't want to get it if I need to do too much work. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

the z31 rear end is a clutch type lsd with 3.70 or 3.40 gearing either way its going to be really long

it is an r200 vs. the s chasis r180 diff.

i dont think it will bolt up, i dont remeber if the 180 rear cover and the 200 rear cover swap either, should be finding out thanks to project s12.

Unless it came out of an 88SS which were Viscous instead of clutch.

They were 3.7's as well.

From what i have heard it will work and it works with the open diff output shafts. this is just word of mouth. 87 plus z31 turbos are r200. check out this web page it may give you some more info http://z31.com/differential.shtml if you don't want to go for it let me know where and how much i would be interested.
