s13 analog cluster problems (already searched)

ok so i had the engine bay harness short out and melt so i replaced it with a new one and after i get it all back together everything works except for my gauge cluster. the illumination works as well as the dummy lights and temperature gauge.

the speedo, tach, gas gauge, odometer, and trip odometer do not work though.

i havent run across anyone with the same issue after searching for a few days. it worked fine before the harness melted so idk if the cluster fried with the wiring or what. it just doesnt make sense that some stuff works and others dont. if anyone could help lead me in the right direction that would be great as its very annoying to have to use the gps as a speedometer

you fried your cluster too... its just what happens... get a new cluster... if you pull out the cluster and smell the back of the plastic circuit sheet and it smells like something burned then i bet that your circuit boards are also fried at all of your gauges
